Safety Equipment

Depending on the waters and regulations in your state or province, all vessels are required to carry the
following safety equipment;

All equipment must meet USCG or CCG approved minimum standards.

Paddles or Oars

Bucket or Bailer

Bucket (s)

Bilge Pump

Fire extinguisher (s)
Where any fuel is carried except open vessels under 5m
Where propulsion or cooking fuel is carried below deck

Waterproof torch

Anchor, chain/line attached

Lifebuoy with 30m line

Navigation lights

Sound signals

In addition to the above items, depending on size of vessel must also carry the following;
